A feature that tests you on the morphological characters of your observations is coming soon.
Nomina Naturæ helps you to memorise the names and taxonomic organisation of species you've observed on iNaturalist.
Enter your username in Settings to get started.
Go to settings to personalise what you'll be tested on (e.g. only plants, or only latin names).
The app schedules each species review card based on how well you know it.
Ones you usually get right first time will fade into the background; tricky ones you'll see more often.
Tap on the homepage to view your progress across all species.
Your progress is saved locally in this browser. You can optionally sync it to the cloud — and across devices — by signing in under Cloud sync in Settings.
If you are not using cloud sync, clearing your browser data will permanently delete your progress.
Tap ℹ after a species card is revealed to read a Wikipedia summary of that species.
Use the feedback form in Settings to report a bug or suggest a feature.
Enter your email to save your progress and sync across devices.
Without this step your progress will be stored locally and lost permanently if you clear your browsing data.
We only use your email to sync your progress. See our Privacy Policy.
